Description
Provision of Electrophysiology (EP) Cath Lab Services - HUTHUsing the PSR regulations Most Suitable Provider process the Trust will award a contract for outsourced cardiology services in the local geographical area of the Trust.
Total Quantity or Scope
NHS Humber Health Partnership intends to follow the Most Suitable Provider process for the provision of EP Cath lab services. The intention of this notice is so providers who can deliver this service are able to express their interest. Only providers who are able to deliver the facilities and staff to undertake specialist Electrophysiology (EP) cath lab work will be considered. This is a key requirement. The cohort of patients to be treated are those under the care of Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, as such providers must be able to accommodate this locally. Some of the different type of investigations needed, but not limited to, are:- Electrophysiology Studies- Ablation- Cardioversion- Pacemaker and Defibrillator Implantation - Implantable Loop RecorderAll staff who work under the provider must possess the appropriate qualification/certification, Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and possess prior NHS experience. All patients need to be treated in line with accepted national standards and NICE guidance. Reports/scans will need to be provided and contain a full data set, with the provider upholding GBDP regulations. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023.
