Description

NHS Midlands & Lancashire (MLCSU) on behalf of the Commissioner, NHS Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board (SSOT ICB), intended to follow the Most Suitable Provider process (MSP) in accordance with Regulation 10 of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) (PSR) 2023 for its provision of All Age Continuing Care (AACC) Service, with the CPV codes 85100000-0 (Healthcare Services) and 85323000-9 (Community health services, but only in respect of community health services which are delivered to individuals).

2. II.2.4

** ABANDONED PROCESS** The NHS England Independent Patient Choice and Procurement Panel, have advised that SSOT ICB should abandon its MSP procurement process for the All Age Continuing Care (AACC) service. The SSOT ICB Board has considered the advice from the NHS England Independent Patient Choice and Procurement Panel and has approved the decision to abandon the Most Suitable Provider process for the All Age Continuing Care (AACC) service in accordance with the advice received from the Panel. Therefore, this notice is to advise that in accordance with The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 Regulation 15 - Abandonment of a procurement SSOT ICB is abandoning the Most Suitable Provider process for the All Age Continuing Care (AACC) service which was originally advertised on the 5 July 2024 with the intent to award under the Most Suitable Provider process. The existing Contract will continue until 31st March 2025. The Authority will assess their future options available under the Provider Selection Regime 2023.
