Description
Summary of scope of works: Geotechnical: Testing and sampling to obtain strength and stiffness health & safety plans and documentation. Particle size distribution of 3No. samples from the trial pits are to be taken. Locations to be agreed. Structural: The pool is to be drained so that the walls and base can be surveyed for any cracks or leaks, and also understand the general condition of the pool. Mechanical and Electrical: Survey all existing below ground and above ground external mechanical, electrical and public health services within the confines of the compound, including both sides of the boundary wall. All services must be positively identified. Below Ground Drainage: A CCTV survey of the existing below ground drainage is required to assess the condition of the existing foul and surface water drains and understand the impact that the proposed works may have on these drains and therefore establish if any remedial works or modifications are required.
