Description

The University hospital of North Midlands is looking to award a supplier who is able to provide a minimally invasive glaucoma procedure device that targets all 3 points of resistance- Schlemm’s canal, collector channels and the trabecular meshwork in one procedure. Surgeons are looking for a system that is indicated for the catheterization and transluminal viscodilation of Schlemm’s canal and the cutting of trabecular meshwork to reduce intraocular pressure in adult patients with open-angle glaucoma. This is not an invitation to tender, nor does it preclude or favour eligibility to participate in the formal procurement once it starts.
