Green Action Trust wishes to appoint a suitable contractor to deliver a range of environmental works which will comprise the following - Site Clearance and Setup Surface Water Management features including the mill lade, floodplain pond, surface water ponds, swales, drainage, check dams, culverts and the expanded swamp area Grassland Planting including marshy grassland, herb-rich meadow, tall grassland, amenity grassland, grass path creation and spring bulb planting Hard Landscaping features including benches, picnic tables and play features Tree Planting works including woodland thinning, core and edge planting, parkland trees, blossom trees and creation of fruiting hedges Boardwalk construction – including screwpile foundations where designed, supporting structure and deck construction Platform construction (swamp) Grass path and river access point creation, including earthworks, grading and seeding. Whin path More detail on the project is outlined in the Project Scope Document – Appendix 1 Purpose: The purpose of this pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) is to enable prospective tenderers, who are interested in receiving the Invitation to Tender (ITT), to provide Green Action Trust with sufficient information to make an initial assessment of their financial standing, capability and suitability for the proposed contract, enabling Green Action Trust to shortlist for the ITT.

Green Action Trust wishes to appoint a suitable contractor to deliver a range of environmental works. Additional information: To facilitate scheduling of works within funding requirements, seasonal activities and sensible working across the site, it is anticipated that a workshop will be held with the successful tenderer in Feb/March25 to work through these elements to set up a full timetable of works and cash flow.
