Description
This contract consists of NIE Networks requirements for Distribution Metal Cladding Units for 11kV Substations for NIE Networks. The scope of the manufacture and delivery of steel cladding for ESI type substations up to 1250kVA. The cladding shall be supplied in kit form, suitable for erection by NIE personnel on level concrete foundations.

Legal Justification
In order to ensure continuity of supply of distribution metal cladding units for 11kV unit substations this modification extends the term of the Framework Agreement duration for 12 months. It is necessary for NIE Networks to place orders to ensure continued supplies of these units, which are critical to maintain operations until the award of the new procurement process. A renewal procurement process will commence imminently.

Contract is for five years with the option to extend by two years at the discretion of NIE Networks
