Description

The contractor will be required to provide all Essential Services, Additional Services throughout core hours as determined in the NHS General Medical Services Regulations 2004 and subsequent amendments. The Care Quality Commission (CQC) suspended registration for a period of 6 months with immediate effect (17th January 2024). The immediate impact was that the holder of the CQC registration was no longer able to perform regulated primary care services until at least the end of the 6-month period. Therefore, the ICB's responsibility was to commission care for the registered patients of Whitestone Surgery. Due to the ongoing CQC regulatory process we are looking to extend this contract for a further 6 months. Lifetime value of the contract is - £400,000 and the contract is being delivered between the following dates; Original Contract - 29th January 2024 - 29th July 2024 Option to extend - 30th July 2024 - 31st January 2025
