Description
Leicester City Council invites tenders for the provision of carriageway surfacing. The carriageway surfacing framework will be a multi-supplier framework, which will be let for an initial period of 2 years with the authority reserving the right to extend for an additional period of 24 months in 12-month increments.
Total Quantity or Scope
Leicester City Council is the highway authority for the city of Leicester and is responsible for the management, maintenance and development of approximately 790 km of public highway and 220 highway structures. The main purpose of this framework contract is to award to a minimum of two and a maximum of four surfacing contractors who will support LCC with their resources and expertise to help deliver numerous highway maintenance and development schemes within the city of Leicester.
