Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service (HFRS) are currently gathering information to inform a future tender for supply of timber for live fire training for firefighters.

Total Quantity or Scope

Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service require the supply of timber to be used for live fire training exercises for firefighters. The timber is burned to simulate the conditions experienced during various fire situations. The wood required will be formaldehyde low or free Oriented Strand Board Type 3 (OSB3) cut to the sizes designed to fit the training equipment. Delivery will be required to training sites in or around Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, ideally within 3-days of order placement or in some cases the same-day.

This prior information notice is to signal an intention to engage with the market using a Market Insights Questionnaire.
