Description
Contract for support and maintenance with Liquid Logic on the existing children's social care system purchased in 2008. The contract is not to procure a new system or solution, it is purely to cover the existing system with on-going support and maintenance. This support contract will give the Council rights to product upgrades, new product functionalities, fixes and patches for the existing implemented LCS and EHM solution.

Legal Justification
This is a new module within Liquid Logic LCS. The Childrens Portal is only available from Liquid Logic and integrates with the currently invested and implemented LCS and EHM systems. The additional module could not have been provided by an alternate contractor as it would not be operable with the existing system and duplicating this would be significant inconvenience and duplication of costs.
