Description

The Provision of Logistics Movement Support Services to British Forces Cyprus (BFC) and the Sovereign Base Area (SBA)

Total Quantity or Scope

The Authority have a requirement to provide Logistics Movement Support (LMS) services for British Forces Cyprus (BFC)/Sovereign Base Area(SBA) and wider defence and security operations within the region. This includes, but is not limited to Freight Transport and Haulage, Shipping Agency, Postal requirement for Customs Purposes, Cargo Clearance and to provide heavy lift and aircraft handling equipment, in order to move freight and equipment to various locations with the Republic of Cyprus (RoC) and the Sovereign Base Areas (SBAs).

Renewal Options

Future arrangements for renewal is not yet known. The Authority has the option, within its sole discretion, to extend the contract by up to two periods as detailed below: Option period 1 - 3 years Options period 2 - 2 years

The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs).
