Description

The production of a digital augmented reality (AR) app and mixed-media experiences which will deliver: — a digital app containing high-quality computer-generated Augmented Reality (AR) reconstructions of seven archaeological sites in Uist, Outer Hebrides, — content for two mixed-media exhibitions, — engagement activities and support surrounding the creation of these digital products.

Total Quantity or Scope

The products will be created in consultation and collaboration with the Project Team (Archaeology staff from Lews Castle College UHI). The AR App and mixed-media experiences will be used by both locals and visitors and will form a key new tourism offering in Uist to help attract visitors to the region. The app must be cross-platform and publicly available, suitable for both iOS and Android operating systems (tablet and phone compatible) and be designed to a high standard where it functions in an intuitive and efficient way.
