Description
To provide a comprehensive cleaning regime of the Council’s four multi storey car parks (MSCP): Grosvenor, Mayorhold, St John's and St Michael's. This will be in the form of a structured daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly cleaning regime, including to the internal and external glazing and the delivery of a rapid reactive service to ad-hoc unplanned cleaning tasks. Contract is for an initial period of 3 years, with the option to extend.

Following due diligence and a further standstill period, the contract was awarded to the originally second highest scoring bidder. Reason for withdrawal given was contract unsustainable, linked to increased costs and recruitment challenges due to Covid-19 situation, which could not have been foreseen at tender stage.
