Description
The scope of the Intermediate Level Waste (ILW) Framework is to provide contracting options for the full range of activities associated with the retrieval and processing of ILW waste at Magnox sites.
Total Quantity or Scope
The scope of the Intermediate Level Waste (ILW) Framework is to provide contracting options for the full range of activities associated with the retrieval and processing of ILW waste at Magnox sites e.g. waste characterisation and assay work; technical support e.g. LOC submissions; building facilitisation work and equipment (e.g.robots); waste retrieval (including transfer, sorting, segregation and size reduction); waste dewatering, drying and other treatments; container filling, sealing, grouting and dispatch; operations support. Additional information: This Framework will require work to be carried out at some or all of Magnox Sites which are currently Bradwell, Sizewell, Dungeness, Winfrith, Harwell, Berkeley, Hinkley, Oldbury, Wylfa, Trawsfynydd, Chapelcross and Hunterston and other locations within the NDA estate.
