Description

Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) are seeking proposals from suitably qualified providers of Large Scale Firefighting Foam Making Equipment for use when dealing with full surface tank fires containing class B liquid fuels. The requirements are divided into lots as detailed below. Bidders will be able to bid for a single lot, several lots or all lots. LOT No. Description 1 Foam Making Equipment: up to 9000lpm 2 Foam Making Equipment: 8000 to 14000lpm 3 Foam Making Equipment: 13000 to 19000lpm 4 Foam Making Equipment: 18000 to 24000lpm 5 Foam Making Equipment: over 23000lpm 6 Ancillary Equipment

Lot Division

1 Foam Making Equipment: up to 9000lpm

GMCA are looking for foam making equipment which can supply the flow rates as detailed above in Lot 1 to deal with full surface tank fires containing class B liquid fuels.
2 Foam Making Equipment: 8000 to 14000lpm

GMCA are looking for foam making equipment which can supply the flow rates as detailed above in Lot 2 to deal with full surface tank fires containing class B liquid fuels.
3 Foam Making Equipment: 13000 to 19000lpm

GMCA are looking for foam making equipment which can supply the flow rates as detailed above in Lot 3 to deal with full surface tank fires containing class B liquid fuels.
4 Foam Making Equipment: 18000 to 24000lpm

GMCA are looking for foam making equipment which can supply the flow rates as detailed above in Lot 4 to deal with full surface tank fires containing class B liquid fuels.
5 Foam Making Equipment: over 23000lpm

GMCA are looking for foam making equipment which can supply the flow rates as detailed above in Lot 5 to deal with full surface tank fires containing class B liquid fuels.
6 Ancillary Equipment (for Foam Making Equipment detailed in Lots 1 - 5)

Lot 6 is for ancillary equipment that might be used at different incident types, such as rim seal fire, vent fire, pressure (3D) fire etc.
