Description

Thames Water Utilities Limited intends to award one or more Framework Agreements for the supply of Pipes and Fittings and other associated equipment directly, or on its behalf by its contractors. The products will be suitable for use in clean water and waste water applications. There are six lots proposed for the agreement: Lot 1 - Ductile Iron Pipes and Fittings Lot 2 - Polyethylene Pipes Lot 3 - Polyethylene Fittings Lot 4 - Polyethylene Barrier Pipes and Fittings Lot 5 - Polyethylene Electrofusion Fitting Lot 6 - Concrete Pipes and Fittings Suppliers may apply for all or individual lots. Thames Water reserves the right to enter into a contract or contracts for the provision of all or any number of lots. Thames Water reserves the right to make no award following the procurement.

Lot Division

1 Ductile Iron Pipes Fittings
  • Value: £12M

Ductile Iron Pipes Fittings for installation within the clean water and waste water network. Products are delivered across the entire Thames Water Region. Pipe sizes range from 80 mm to 1 800 mm but not limited to Pipe Fittings include but not limited to, Bends, Tee, Blank Flange, Flange Socket, Flange Spigot, Taper, Flanged Pipes Duck Foot Bends. Fittings will also include Tape that provides resistance to damage during handling and backfilling, anti-corrosion, highly resistant to mineral acids, highly impermeable to water, water vapour and gases. Used for the protection of buried, exposed or immersed pipes fittings.

2 Polyethylene Pipes

Delivery of Polyethylene Pipes for installation within the clean water and waste water network. Products are delivered across the entire Thames Water Region. Pipe sizes range from but not limited to 25 mm to 710 mm on MDPE HPPE. Pipe rating also include SDR11, 17, 21 26

3 Polyethylene Fittings
  • Value: £968K

Delivery of Polyethylene fittings for installation within the clean water and waste water network. Products are delivered across the entire Thames Water Region. Fittings include but not limited to, Bends, Coupler, Reducer, Tee, Stub Flange, Spigot Slim Flange.

4 Title: Polyethylene Barrier Pipe Barrier Fittings
  • Value: £6M

Delivery of Polyethylene Barrier Pipe for installation within the clean water network. Products are delivered across the entire Thames Water Region Barrier Pipe are to be supplied in size range but not limited from 25 mm to 355 mm. Fittings include but not limited to Ferrules, Bends, Couplers, Reducers, Tee Wrapping Tape.

5 Polyethylene Electrofusion Fittings
  • Value: £1M

Delivery of Polyethylene Electrofusion fittings for installation within the clean water waste water network. Products are delivered across the entire Thames Water Region Fittings include but not limited to Ferrules, Bends, Couplers, Reducers, Tee Wrapping Tape.

6 Concrete Pipes Fittings
  • Value: £928K

Delivery of concrete pipes fittings for installation within waste water network. Products are delivered across the entire Thames Water Region Pipes size rage from but not limited to 300 mm to 1 800 mm along with Jacking pipes Fittings include but not limited to Plain End Socket, Plain End Spigot, Bends, Chamber Rings, Cover Slabs, Rockers.

Renewal Options

All suppliers who wish to respond to this contract notice must request a pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) by using the web link in Section I.3 (www.thameswater.co.uk/procurement). From your response to the link in Section I.3 or above, Thames Water's Procurement Support Centre will send you an email providing login details for our eSourcing system (i.e. IASTA Smartsource). To complete the PQQ you will need to login to IASTA Smartsource. If the project requires it, you will receive an additional and separate survey to complete for Data Protection. Note - The client may be Thames Water Utilities Limited or another company within the Kemble Water group structure.
