Description

This contract will cover the requirements for Gateshead Council, TGHC and their partner organisations where there is a need to carry out safety checks, maintenance and replacements of gas appliances within TGHC's social housing properties. The contract will be split into 2 lots: Lot 1 – Reactive Repairs and Maintenance This lot will include for the reactive replacement of gas appliances and heating systems including gas installation pipework. Lot 2 – Capital Works This lot will include for the planned replacement of gas appliances and heating systems including gas installation pipework to void and tenanted properties. This lot also includes for the planned removal of gas fires and making good. There will be a maximum of 1 contractor awarded per lot. Contractors may bid for both lots however they may only be awarded a maximum of 1 lot.

Lot Division

1 Reactive Repairs and Maintenance

This lot will include for the planned replacement of gas appliances and heating systems including gas installation pipework to void and tenanted properties. This lot also includes for the planned removal of gas fires and making good.

Award Criteria
Please confirm that at all times you will have the minimum number of staff, as detailed in Clause 1.9. _
Please provide examples of your quality assurance process and supporting documentation for gas and electrical works. This must include; Gas safe registration for all operatives ACS training Work in progress audit and post inspection testing audit. Investigation process. 20.0
Lot 1 only — Please provide details on how you intend to carry out the responsive contract and complete the volume of works within the given timescale. Detail your ability to deal with potential operational resource issues which will effect the delivery of the programme and how you will manage performance to ensure appointments / target dates are kept. Please provide a structure of your organisation as part of this submission. This answer should be limited to 4 sides A4, font Arial size 11, plus supporting documents. 20.0
