Description

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is exploring options for Video Calling (Business to Customer) in line with its Digital Strategic Roadmap to deploy omni-channel capabilities providing DWP and its customers with more channels for connecting whilst putting the customer at the heart of the journey. To facilitate this, DWP has an emerging requirement which they would like to explore with the market and understand offerings. The maturity of our customers' technical capability has been rapidly evolving, as has their propensity to engage via Digital Channels, largely due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. This means that video has increased in importance as a channel option for customers' interactions. It is vital that DWP develops a single Strategic Video Channel, which can be implemented consistently across all of its lines of businesses, and cost effectively maintained.
