Description

B2G is managing the framework on behalf of GHHA, and all communication regarding the framework should be directed to B2G (tenders@b2g.services). This framework is for use by any UK contracting authorities to call off both single and multi-site minor works projects for planned and reactive repair, maintenance and improvement of both housing and non-housing property throughout England. It will suit authorities who appreciate the continuity of a working relationship with a principal contractor to manage both one-off projects and term contracts. As set out in the other parts of this notice and in the ITT.

Other Information

The framework will be accessible to any and all publicly funded organisation and contracting authority including but not limited to any local authority, unitary authority, or subsidiary or joint-venture vehicle of a local or unitary authority, arms-length management organisation, council owned company, school, college, university, education trust or authority, transport authority or service provider, any health authority, council, board or trust, any police, fire, rescue or emergency service, any central government department, agency, devolved administration and or national/non-departmental public body, any housing association, registered social landlord, tenant management organisation or registered charity. The framework will also be accessible to private sector organisations, particularly those established by public sector organisations to deliver public sector services. The original ITT included three additional lots: No bids were received for the Devon and Cornwall lot, and so the decision was taken to extend the South West lot to include the peninsula subject to willingness and capability of the suppliers bidding for the South West lot to service those areas. The solitary bidder was both willing to service the region and able to provide a case study to prove their ability to do so. No bids were received for either the North or South Wales lots, which was disappointing given initial positive feedback from interested parties. Consequently the decision was taken to remove reference to Wales or the Welsh lots in the framework title,in order not to create confusion in the market place. A bespoke framework for Wales will be tendered at a later date.
