PCR testing services as follows: • Facilitation of PCR testing of 10-40 Doping Control Personnel (DCP) weekly or twice weekly for the period of the contract. DCP are likely to be evenly distributed across the UK. • PCR testing should be at home testing with options to either distribute PCR testing materials to relevant individuals or to a centralised UKAD location. • Shipment process of completed PCR test to relevant laboratory that enables 48-72 hour turnaround of results (from shipment) • Secure and user-friendly mechanism for reporting of results

Legal Justification

The value of the contract does not meet or exceed the financial threshold requiring a call to competition in OJEU or FTS. The length of the contract is 2 months (until 31 March 2021) and value between £6000-£50000. Likely value of contract will be approx. £30000. Furthermore, there was an urgency in need for procurement, in order to meet requirements to ensure UKAD testing services could continue in a Covid-19 safe way.
