Description

Norfolk Community Health and Care(NCHC) have established a framework agreement with multiple suppliers that will include the terms and conditions for making a number of call offs (Individual purchases). Norfolk Community Health and Care, acting as the Procurement lead for the Norfolk and Waveney STP, has established a framework of capable and qualified partners to deliver a training cohort of Nursing Associate Apprenticeships. (https://www.england.nhs.uk/systemchange/view-stps/norfolk-and-waveney/) This programme can only be delivered by providers who are geographically suited to provide a service to the Norfolk and Waveney STP footprint – or are able to provide suitable distance learning training.

Total Quantity or Scope

Norfolk Community Health and Care (acting as the Procurement lead for the Norfolk and Waveney STP provider Trusts) has establied a framework of capable and qualified partners to deliver a training cohort of Nursing Associate Apprenticeships. The programme aims to produce nursing associates who are fit to practice in the widest range of settings.The programme combines academic and work-based learning through close collaboration between employers and education providers. As an employee, a trainee nursing associate will be based in a particular organisation in a specific setting. But they will also experience working in alternative settings to gain a wide appreciation of many health and care environments to fulfil all the requirements of the programme. At the end of the programme, the trainee will be equipped with the knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes and behaviors relevant to employment as a nursing associate.
