NHS Highland wishes to appoint a single supplier for the provision of a Single Reception Service at the new Badenoch and Strathspey Community Hospital in Aviemore. The new hospital design is a single reception to service the needs of a multi-tenanted building. The service will be provided between Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:00 excluding Public Holidays.

The GP Practice in the new hospital has the largest footfall for patients in relation to other services in the building. Under GMS services, a reception service is required for GP Practice. The building design and workforce plan seek to gain economies of scale for all occupants of the new hospital through provision of a single reception service. Aviemore GP Practice are the only possible provider of this service, other providers will not occupy the new hospital.
