Description

TfWM is undertaking a soft market testing to understand the options available for designing, operating, and managing Park & Ride and Park & Walk sites during the 2022 Commonwealth Games. We are currently interested to learn about innovative ideas and solutions that can be provided by a single turnkey provider or multiple providers to ensure the successful delivery of Park & Ride and Park & Walk sites. Park and Ride and Park and Walk will be an essential component of delivering Birmingham 2022, helping to manage congestion and parking around venues and minimise the Games' impact on the local road network. Park & Ride and Park & Walk will be provided to ticketed spectators, in addition to non-ticketed spectators at specific venue/s where demand on public transport can't be met. This exercise does not include the operation of shuttle bus services at Park and Ride sites.
