Description
*** In line with The GMCA constitution this opportunity has been conducted as a restricted procurement exercise**** The Brownfield Housing Fund is a £400m fund which aims to create more homes by bringing brownfield land back into development. MHCLG have allocated 90% of the fund directly to Mayoral Combined Authorities, with a further 10% being held back for bid submissions on a competitive basis, these bids will also be coordinated through the Mayoral Combined Authorities. Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), has been allocated and is to administer £81.1m of the Brownfield Housing Fund and invites your organisation to submit proposals for the provision of Monitoring Surveying services in relation to the allocation of grant funding. This will be allocated to a number of sites identified in two tranches. Tranche 1 sites have since been identified and recommended for allocation (subject to GMCA approvals at the end of October). These sites have a requirement to spend this Financial Year, in line with an annual spend profile fixed by MHCLG for the £81.1m. For the remainder of the allocation ("Tranche 2"), sites are yet to be allocated and will be subject to a place-based prioritisation process which is currently being consulted on and the relevant approvals sought. An Invitation to Bid was issued to undertake the Monitoring Surveying services required for Tranche 1
