Description

South Kesteven District Council is seeking quotes for the supply of upgrades and/or new installations to their temporary accommodation CCTV systems to ensure that they are fit for purpose. The CCTV system across the temporary accommodation needs to be sufficient to ensure the safety of Council officers attending the accommodation and provide evidence to the Police in the event of a criminal or anti-social incident. The CCTV system will be required to have a remote connection and is being installed to protect the premises and residents from theft, vandalism, anti-social behaviour. It will also be required to track and record accidental or wilful damage and to provide additional monitoring for health and safety purposes.

The deadline for completed tender submissions to be received on the eTendering Portal is 12:00 noon on 5th March 2021. The Contract is due to commence on 1st April 2021. PLEASE NOTE: Bidders are required to make arrangements to undertake a supervised site visit to the sites which need the 230vac, to review wiring routes prior to the submission of quotations to ensure their accuracy (please see 2.8 of Document One for site details and further information). Attendance at a site visit is mandatory as part of this procurement process, and all site visits must be conducted in line with any local and national COVID legislation and guidance. The Council reserves the right to eliminate bids from the procurement process (without evaluation), that are received from any bidder that has not attended a site visit. Site visits must be arranged through the messaging function of the project on ProContract.
