Description

NHS SBS is looking to expand the scope of their current Point of Care Testing: Drugs of Abuse framework agreement to include the below potential areas – • Rapid Drug Testing (oral, urine and hair) • Pandemic Testing (Antigen & Antibody) • Family Law Services including DNA Testing • Blood Born Virus Testing • Blood Spot Drug & Alcohol testing • Alcohol Testing Devices, including Breath Analysers, Continuous Monitoring (SCRAM) and Associated Consumables • Confirmation/Classification Testing/Screening of Non-Negative Samples

Prior Information Notice (PIN) for Drugs of Abuse and Wider Point of Care Testing framework agreement. NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) are consulting on a proposal to tender for the provision of Drugs of Abuse and Wider Point of Care Testing to support NHS Organisations and the wider public sector to replace the existing framework agreement which will expire in December 2021. To help define and develop our national procurement strategy and help in the development of our service specification to meet the needs of NHS Organisations and wider Public Sectors, NHS SBS are engaging with potential providers prior to the release of any official tender documents.
