Description

YAS 102 2020_21 Integrated Urgent Care Support Framework Contract (This notice is pursuant to PIN notice 2020/S 222-547388). Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust (YAS) requires a framework contract for providers of clinical validations and clinical advice by telephone as part of the regional NHS111/Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) service. These services are summarised as Lots 1 and 2 both here and below; whilst being fully specified within the ITT documentation. Lot 1: Emergency Department Validations; is for subcontracted Emergency Department Validation providers. Lot 2: Clinical Advice Services (CAS); is for clinical advice service providers at either a regional or individual ICS/CCG level for use by either YAS or the 3 Yorkshire and Humber Integrated Care Systems and CCGs as listed within this notice.

Lot Division

1 Emergency Department Validations

Lot 1 is summarised as: emergency department validations; is for the appointment of qualified providers able to provide emergency department validations in support of the Core IUC Service as direct subcontractors and helping to fulfil the regional requirement to clinically validate 50 % of these ED referrals. All services provided under this lot must comply with the requirements of the national integrated urgent care service specification and associated national quality standards https://www.england.nhs.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/Integrated-Urgent-Care-Service-Specification.pdf The full Lot 1 specification is within the ITT documentation.

2 Clincal Advice Service

Lot 2: Summarised as: Clinical Advice Services (CAS); is the appointment of qualified providers of clinical advice services to work on either a regional or individual ICS footprint for use by either YAS or the 3 Yorkshire and Humber Integrated Care Systems and respective CCGs as listed. This lot is intended for use by YAS to subcontract clinical advice provision under the Core CAS if required and is also being made available for use by all CCG Commissioners in the Yorkshire and Humber region – enabling CCGs to commission clinical advice services from local CAS providers directly through a framework without the need for a separate local procurement.
