This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) and not a call for competition, in advance of the procurement of a multi-supplier framework agreement for the supply of Medical Examination Gloves and Surgical Gloves. The scope of requirements are for both sterile and non-sterile gloves and includes but is not limited to, the following types: — nitrile examination gloves, — vinyl examination gloves, — latex examination gloves, — sterile examination gloves, — accelerator Free, — chemotherapy tested, — other specialist medical gloves, — latex surgical gloves, — synthetic surgical gloves. Medical gloves must comply with the European Standard EN 455 Parts 1 to 4: 2000 to 2009 Medical Gloves for single use or equivalent.

Lot Division

1 Medical Examination Gloves

The scope of Lot One comprises, but is not limited to, single use medical examination gloves of the following types which should be available in a range of sizes: … — accelerator free examination gloves, — chemical/cytotoxic tested examination gloves, — long/extended cuff examination gloves.
2 Surgical Gloves

The scope of Lot Two comprises, but is not limited to, latex and synthetic surgical sterile gloves of the following types which should be available in a range of sizes: — surgical undergloves, — surgical overgloves, — extra sensitive surgical gloves, — textured surgical gloves, — tear/puncture indication surgical gloves, — coated surgical gloves.
3 Nitrile Non-Sterile 6 Newton Medical Examination Gloves

The scope of Lot Three comprises Nitrile Non-Sterile 6 Newton Medical Examination Gloves. These gloves should be latex free and available in extra small, small, medium, large and extra large sizes.

Collaborative Procurement Partnership LLP (CPP LLP) acting on behalf of Supply Chain Coordination Ltd (SCCL) are conducting this tender exercise and will execute the resultant framework agreement with successful bidders. Collaborative Procurement Partnership LLP (CPP LLP) acting on behalf of Supply Chain Coordination Ltd (SCCL) are seeking supplier engagement to further assist of the procurement and overall solution. To register an expression of interest for this tender opportunity please register on the Jaggaer eProcurement Portal https://nhssupplychain.app.jaggaer.com/. The deadline for expression of interest for the supplier engagement will be 23rd April 2021. The supplier engagement will take place in the form of MS Team calls and will be arranged at a convenient time with the supplier and CPP LLP Gloves Category Team. Supplier engagement will be carried out in accordance with Regulation 40 and 41 of the Public Contract Regulations 2015. It is anticipated that the tender documents and Contract Notice will be published towards the end of May 2021. Duration of this framework agreement will be between 2 and 4 years.
