Description
The London Borough of Barnet has awarded early intervention and prevention services via three lots: — Lot 1: Community Advice Service, — Lot 2: Care Act Advocacy Service, — Lot 3: Dementia Support Services. Services will commence on 6 April 2021 for Lots 1 and 2, and 1 April 2021 for Lot 3.
Lot Division
1 | Community Advice Service The CAS contract aims to support people in being independent by enabling them to deal with their civil legal, financial and other problems through providing high quality advice and informing them of their legal rights and responsibilities. |
2 | Care Act Advocacy Service The CAA contract aims to meet all statutory requirements on the Council for the provision of independent advocacy under the terms of the: Care Act 2014, The Mental Capacity Act 2005, including the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) and Mental Health Act 2017. |
3 | Dementia Support Services The DSS Services comprise the following components: A. Dementia Advisor Service including: Enablement and outreach, Peer networking leading to self-facilitating support groups, Dementia Friendly Community networking and Dementia training to build capacity in local organisations. B. Dementia Day Service (Marillac). |
