Description
CVDPREVENT is a new national audit of cardiovascular disease prevention in primary care in England. Workstreams 1 and 2 of this audit will be carried out by NHS Digital (NHSD) and Public Health England (PHE) and hence the successful bidder will need to work collaboratively. Full details of HQIP’s requirements for Workstream 3 are set out in the specification document.

Renewal Options
The contract for Workstream 3 will initially be delivered for NHS-funded care in England, for a period of 3 years, at a maximum total budget of up to GBP 600 000 excluding VAT. Bids exceeding this limit may be rejected. There is potential to extend the contract for up to two additional years, subject to topic prioritisation by the funders, the availability of funding, and an assessment by a HQIP-convened panel on the quality of the project delivery. Bidders should submit their Schedule of Offer based on delivery of the core elements of this specification (see ‘Scope’ Section A3) for the initial 3 years only. The maximum budget value is GBP 600 000 excluding VAT. Taking into account the aspirational intent featured in the specification as well as the possibility that a contract extension may be offered for an additional 2 years, the potential ceiling value is GBP 7 000 000 excluding VAT. Please note, there is no commitment by the Authority at this stage to include any of these.
