Description

The London Fire Commissioner wishes to enter into a contract to design and build a data platform as part of the Business Intelligence Solutions (BIS) project. The data platform will allow the Commissioner to create a central repository for all of the reported information, which in turn will improve access to, encourage better use of and better organise the Commissioner's data from all its information systems.

Total Quantity or Scope

The scope of the contract will cover: — detailed specification documentation for the conceptual design already agreed; — roadmap, approach document and project plan; — logical and physical architecture diagrams; — costings and transition plan to BAU state; — data platform build. The contract will be for a period of 2 years with an option to extend for a further period or periods up to an aggregate of 12 months.
