Description
Falkirk Council wishes to undertake a tendering process to enter into a framework agreement with suitably experienced contractors for the provision of operated plant on a short-term hire basis to carry out operations at various sites within the Falkirk Council area of operations.

Bidders will be required to provide 3 examples of works carried out in the past five years that demonstrate that they have the relevant experience to deliver the work as described in part II.2.4 of the Find a Tender Service Contract Notice or the relevant section of the Site Notice. 2.Bidders will be required to confirm whether they intend to subcontract and, if so, for what proportion of the contract. 3. The bidder must hold a UKAS (or equivalent) accredited independent third party certificate of compliance in accordance with BS EN ISO 9001 (or equivalent), OR provide responses in relation to 4D.1.2 A through to G in the in the SPD(Scotland) Standard Statements v1.10. 4. The bidder must hold a UKAS (or equivalent) accredited independent third party certificate of compliance in accordance with BS OHSAS 18001 (or equivalent) or have within the last 12 months successfully met the assessment requirements of a construction — related scheme in registered membership of the Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) forum OR provide responses in relation to 4D.1.4a through to 4k in the SPD(Scotland) Standard Statements v1.10 5. The Bidder must hold a UKAS (or equivalent) accredited independent third party certificate of compliance with BS EN ISO 14001 (or equivalent) or a valid EMAS (or equivalent) certificate or provide responses in relation to: 4D.2.2a through to 4D.2.2G in the SPD(Scotland) Standard Statements v1.10. 6. Bidders are advised to allow adequate time for uploading documents and to dispatch the electronic response in advance of the submission deadline to avoid any last minute issues. The MA placement can be across a range of disciplines to be determined by the successful contractor. The contractor will be required to meet with Falkirk Council’s Employment and Training Unit to discuss implementation prior to contract start. The maximum number of Modern Apprenticeship opportunities per Contractor will be 1 (one) per Lot. (ii) Contractor(s) Ranked No.1 on the Framework for Lots 2, 6 & 8 All Contractor(s) on the Framework within Lots 2, 6 & 8 whose cumulative level of spend is greater than 200k will be required to provide 26 weeks work experience opportunities per annum.
