Description

The Scottish Ministers invites tenders for 2 x 7.80m (minimum) length overall commercial Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIB). Both RIBs require to be coded and constructed to MCA Cat3R 20nm Day, Night time R due to extenuating circumstances as per Workboat Code edition 2 Amendment 1. The Scottish Ministers are currently operating two inshore patrol RIBs from various locations around the coast of mainland Scotland as well as the Islands (including the North sea). These RIBs will be a replacement for the RIBs currently in use and will only be required for use as coastal patrol vessels.
