Description

The London Borough of Redbridge ("Redbridge Council") is establishing a web-based Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of passenger transport for children and young people and vulnerable adults. The DPS is open to any operator to join at any time, upon satisfying the selection criteria. The service is required to provide transport for over 600 SEND pupils to over 100 schools and colleges and children young people and other locations. Much of this is provided through commercial contactors. The service will also transport vulnerable adults to college, day centres and provide ad hoc services for other teams within the council.

Total Quantity or Scope

London Borough of Redbridge require a service for the provision of passenger transport for children and young people and vulnerable adults. The service is required to provide transport for over 400 SENDIS pupils to over 100 schools and colleges and children young people and other locations. The service will also transport vulnerable adults to college, and other places of education.

Renewal Options

3-year contract (2021 - 2024), with the possibility of an extension of 2 years (until 2026)
