Legal Justification
Ferguson Marine Port Glasgow Limited required to urgently engage with a steelwork services provider to ensure the project schedule for the build of ships 801 & 802 can be achieved within time and budget. This is as a result of difficulties in sourcing welders and platers through recruitment processes and through recently awarded framework agreements for the supply of temporary workers. A public procurement exercise will commence shortly for steelwork services.
