NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (CSU) is working on behalf of NHS Southport & Formby CCG and NHS South Sefton CCG who wish to award a 6-month contract for an Independent provider of ophthalmology Services for patients living in the CCG areas. The aim of the service is to deliver: • Diagnostic and screening procedures • Surgical procedures • Treatment of disease, disorder or injury Sefton's health care is commissioned by NHS Southport and Formby CCG and NHS South Sefton CCG with Sefton MBC providing social care for the whole area. This is a joint contract award by both NHS Southport & Formby CCG and NHS South Sefton CCG.

** PREVIEW NOTICE, please check Find a Tender for full details. ** Midlands and Lancashire CSU is publishing this VEAT Notice to confirm NHS Southport & Formby CCG’s and NHS South Sefton CCG’s intention to award a contract for the Independent provider of ophthalmology Services to iSight Limited. This contract was awarded to commence on 1st April 2021 and is a 6-month contract with the option to extend by a further 6 months. This VEAT Notice is published under the Public Contract Regulations 2015. It is for clinical services which are Light Touch Regime services for the purpose of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 as specified in Schedule 3 of the Regulations (‘Regulations’). Accordingly, the contracting authority is only bound by those parts of the Regulations detailed in Chapter 3 Particular Procurement Regimes Section 7. The contracting authority is not voluntarily following any other part of the Regulations.
