The design and construction of Berth 4: — a 430 m extension of the existing deep-water quay, — mooring dolphin, — fenders, bollards and other quayside furniture, — heavy-duty rails and foundations for quay cranes, — dredging of the berth pocket and approaches, — berth pocket scour protection, — earthworks, removal of existing surcharge material and ground improvement, — 10 on shore stacks to be operated by automated stacking cranes (ASCs), — reefer frames, — heavy duty pavements and other surfacing, — surface water drainage, — hazardous container storage including pipework and holding tanks for contaminated effluent, — fire mains and associated pits and valves, — HV, LV and communications conduits/pits, — LV and HV electrical works including sub-stations, switchgear and transformers, — earthing systems, — electrical control and protection systems, — lighting, — testing and commissioning.

Other Information
Due to significant delays caused largely by the Covid-19 pandemic, and other issues affecting the project that have arisen during this time, the completion and award of this tender process has been delayed beyond a period that would be considered reasonable in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations that govern such tendering processes. Therefore, we are cancelling this tender process and shall be issuing a new tender process for the project, which will be updated with additional details in respect of the technical issues associated with the project as well as further updated details relating to site conditions and the relevant authorities approvals.
