Falkirk Council is leading a procurement on its own account to secure a provider of Transportation of School Meals, to enable the organisation to meet their duties and responsibilities.

Total Quantity or Scope

Falkirk Council has a requirement to engage with suitably qualified suppliers as part of an agreement for the Transportation of School Meals from its School Kitchen production units to non-production schools and nurseries/early years centres.

Renewal Options

The initial contract duration is 24 months with the option to extend for a further 2 x 12 month periods.

Falkirk Council also specifically wishes to encourage and intends to support the training and skills development of young and/or inexperienced people in order that they can be equipped to work successfully in a customer facing/customer support environment.
