Description

North Yorkshire County Council alongside the City of York Council require the provision of radio aids, associated equipment, maintenance and servicing to support individuals with hearing loss in educational settings. The contract is for radio aids and their associated equipment alongside general repairs and maintenance of the aids.

Total Quantity or Scope

The radio aids purchased by the Authorities must be compatible with hearing aids which are supplied by the Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) to children and young people in the North Yorkshire and York region. The tendering process is an Open procedure, in line with Regulation 27 of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 and is therefore open to all interested parties, submissions should be submitted electronically prior to the deadline stated within the tender documents. Additional information: The estimated contract value has been provided in accordance with previous usage, however as this service is need led there is no guarantee of a minimum or maximum volumes of purchases.

Renewal Options

This contract has an initial three year term from 1st August 2021 to 31st July 2024, with the option to extend for a period of two years from 1st August 2024 to 2026. Therefore the maximum contract term is five years.
