Description

The principal purpose of the Adult Education Budget is to engage and provide adults with skills and learning needed to access employment, apprenticeships or further learning. The Adult Education Budget also enables providers to offer more tailored programmes of learning, which do not need a qualification, to help those who are furthest from learning or the workplace. All funded provision also has to take account of the employment and skills priorities of the West Midlands Combined Authority; these currently include focusing on skills, employability and well-being to enable as many people as possible to benefit from the new and higher value jobs that are created. As such, the subcontracting offer for the academic year 2021/22 has been tailored to meet the following priorities; - Travel and Tourism - Engineering - Digital Media - Community Learning
