EKFB seek EOI's from interested parties for the supply of 2No Tyred Gantry Cranes for offloading ISO Containers at Greatmoor Sidings to support the delivery of our C23 HS2 project. The area Calvert Area (CA). In order to offload the 20ft ISO Containers a pair of overhead gantry cranes are required. The gantry cranes will travel the length of the sidings (440m) to offload the ISO containers from railway rolling stock. Each gantry crane shall be capable of handling and stacking one over one ISO container and shall span the two sidings and road or storage. EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. Our scope of the works includes 15 viaducts, 6.9km of green tunnels, 22km of road diversions, 81 bridges and around 30 million cubic metres of excavation.
