Description

The Utilities wish to create a framework that will deliver the majority of their Technology maintenance and enhancement projects, inclusive of hardware & software requirements. The framework will be divided into two lots: Lot 1 - End to End Program Delivery - This will include but is not limited to; advisory services & strategy development, design, build, implementation, configuration, integration, testing, hyper-care, on-going application support & maintenance, 1st & 2nd line support and operational support (NOC & SOC). For large programs of work, the resell of any necessary hardware and software may also be included. Lot 2 - Hardware & Software Resell & Renewals Management - This will include but is not limited to; hardware & software selection services, hardware & software resell (inclusive of professional services, support & maintenance), hardware & software renewals management.

1 End to End Program Delivery

Lot 1 - End to End Program Delivery - … Lot 1 contracts may be awarded for an entire program of work from strategy development through to on-going support & maintenance of a solution, including the resell of any necessary hardware and software where applicable. Alternatively, contracts may be awarded for individual services to address smaller, stand-alone requirements e.g. advisory services for a specific emerging technology, testing of an application built in-house or support & maintenance of a specific application.

2 Hardware & Software Resell & Renewals Management

A preferred supplier may be awarded for Lot 2 to manage the on-going renewals and resell of any additional software, licenses and products for pre-existing hardware & software solutions across the Utilities' estate. Lot 2 providers will also identify new hardware & software solutions based on the utilities requirements and subsequently manage the resell and any on-going renewals of the chosen solution, inclusive of licenses, products, support & maintenance services and professional services required for configuration/implementation. In addition, Lot 2 providers will manage the on-going renewals for any hardware & software solutions procured via Lot 1.

** PREVIEW NOTICE, please check Find a Tender for full details. ** The Utilities will be hosting a PIN workshop on Thursday 15th July where prospective bidders are invited to attend to gain an insight into the strategic intention of this framework and to participate in individual feedback sessions with the Utilities. The workshop may be attended in person at "The Academy" - Hawksley Park, St Martin's Road, Stoneleigh, Coventry CV3 6PR or virtually (subject to government guidelines at the time, restrictions on number of attendees per organisation may be required). Attendance is not compulsory, nor is it a prerequisite for participation in any future tender activity. Additional information relating to the PIN workshop is available upon request. Attendance should be confirmed by Monday 5th July.
