Other Information

** PREVIEW NOTICE, please check Find a Tender for full details. ** Contract extension necessary to generate the time required to tender/procure the much broader/longer replacement contract that will see a return of UK Emergency Towage Vessel (ETV) coverage in the Dover Strait and south western approaches, as well as maintaining the current ETV provision in Scotland. The results of a study into UK EEZ Shipping Risks and ETV Provision, commissioned by the Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA), were only published in March 2020 and analysis of the recommendations in that report have taken time to analyse to determine the new requirement.
