Description

The 7 Force Procurement Team, on behalf of The Police and Crime Commissioner for Kent, is seeking a contractor to inspect and maintain fire doors across Kent Police sites, countywide. Kent and Medway Towns Fire Authority also seeks a contractor for these services.

The Authority is looking to procure Fire Door Inspection and Maintenance Services as detailed within the tender documentation. Kent Police has in the region of 3300+ fire doors across 100 sites countywide. The contracts shall be based on the NEC4 Term Short Service Contract (TSSC) terms and conditions as supplemented by the 7 Force Schedule of Amendments for NEC4, and shall be for a maximum duration of 4 years, made up of an initial term of 2 years plus optional extensions. Additional information: Estimated contract value range £350,000 - £900,000. The Authority does not currently have contracts for these services; these values are not based on true historical data. Based on number of doors and buildings. Lower end of range is estimated for the initial period, upper range allows for optional extension options and additional services.
2 Fire Doors Inspection and Maintenance - Kent Fire

The Authority is looking to procure Fire Door Inspection and Maintenance Services as detailed within the tender documentation. Kent Fire has in the region of 570+ fire doors across 60 sites countywide. The contracts shall be based on the NEC4 Term Short Service Contract (TSSC) terms and conditions as supplemented by the 7 Force Schedule of Amendments for NEC4, and shall be for a maximum duration of 4 years, made up of an initial term of 2 years plus optional extensions. Additional information: Estimated contract value range £200,000 - £400,000. The Authority does not currently have contracts for these services; these values are not based on true historical data. Based on number of doors and buildings. Lower end of range is estimated for the initial period, upper range allows for optional extension options and additional services.

Renewal Options

This contract shall have 2 x 1 year extension options at the sole discretion of the Authority.
