Description

The Trust offers a wide range of specialist and general hospital services at our two main hospital sites, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital (London SW10) and West Middlesex University Hospital (Middlesex TW7). The Imaging service reflects the needs of teaching hospital and district general hospital environments and imaging modalities include CT, MRI, Interventional Radiology, Radio-nuclide Imaging and therapy, Mammography, General 'plain film' imaging, DXA scanning, ultrasound and laser treatment. We aspire to be an innovative and high quality imaging department and are proud of the QSI accreditation that we obtained for the imaging department across both sites in2019. In order to provide our imaging service we require certain services provided by medical physics. The needs are currently covered under three contracts with different providers. As part of the Trust's long term financial plan and to reassure ourselves and commissioners that we are spending public money wisely we are retendering the service.
