Description
The objective of this framework is to provide high quality technical advisor services to WRAP in sustainability and resource efficiency in our priority sectors (food and drink, sustainable plastics, and sustainable textiles) and in descriptive and associational research and analysis, to support us with effective delivery of our projects and programmes. This procurement has now concluded.
Lot Division
1 | Food & Drink WRAP is working with organisations in the food and drink industry to create economic and environmental value from reducing food waste and greenhouse gas emissions, and tackling issues around water scarcity across the supply chain. This Lot will provide technical expertise to support WRAP deliver this activity. |
2 | Sustainable Plastics In the UK and globally we need to move away from a linear plastics economy, where we take, make and dispose of plastic, and towards a circular system where we keep plastic in the economy and out of the natural environment. This Lot will provide technical expertise to support WRAP deliver this activity. |
3 | Sustainable Textiles WRAP is transforming the way the clothing and textiles industry produces, buys, uses and re-uses textiles and clothing, to reduce environmental impacts. Since the inception of the SCAP 2020 Commitment in 2013, WRAP has worked with over 80 organisations to reduce their environmental impacts. In 2017, SCAP signatories have cut water impacts by 13.5 %; carbon impacts by 10.6 %; waste impacts arising across the product life cycle by 0.8 %, and there has been a reduction in household residual waste by 14 %, per tonne of clothing. This Lot will provide technical expertise to support WRAP deliver this activity. |
