Cardiff & Vale University Health Board has a bespoke requirement for Aroma branded coffee cups and accessories. Aroma within Cardiff & Vale University Health board is made up of Cafe's situated across various different sites that include, University Hospital of Wales, University Hospital of Llandough and Woodlands House.
Total Quantity or Scope
Tri-Star Packaging will be awarded the contract for 13 months. The Aroma branded coffee cups are in use across the Cardiff & Vale University Health Board.

Legal Justification
Aroma is a wholly NHS owned coffee bar concept that offers a wide range of food and beverages that meet the Health Boards 70% good food standard. The Aroma brand is owned by Greater Glasgow & Clyde, NHS Scotland and is a bespoke design distributed by Tri-Star Packaging only. As a result, Cardiff & Vale University Health Board are issuing this notice as Tri-Star are the only provider that can supply these products. Cardiff & Vale University Health Board will be working alongside NHS Scotland for the development of the new framework for these products during the term of this contract.
