This tender is for the provision of Technology Enabled Care Services covering a variety of products and services. The framework aims to deliver emphasis on outcomes to allow flexibility for service development at local level,increased service user orientation and an integrated approach to service delivery. Tenderers are expected to provide suitable products and/or services that can offer value for money and help drive efficient and effective ways of working within the following lots: — Lot 1 — Electronic Assistive Technologies (For use in Health and Social Care). — Lot 2 — Alarm Technologies and Services. — Lot 3 — Continuous Monitoring Services. — Lot 4 - Schedule Remote and On Demand Services

Legal Justification

The justification for the extension is that the necessary NHS expertise is not currently available to support the development of a framework renewal as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, framework continuity is required during a period of high demand and priority to support the operational needs of the NHS in procuring these particular products and services at short notice. The COVID-19 pandemic meets the conditions outlined under 72(1) (c) of PCR 2015, and it is under those conditions that a modification to the duration of the framework is proposed to be made. In making such a modification it is understood that NHS SBS would be required to send a notice to OJEU under 72 (3) of PCR 2015.
