Description

The purpose of this early engagement / prior information notice is to advise, and engage, the market about a potential procurement exercise for the provision of Resident Medical Officers ('RMOs') to East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust ('the Trust'). The Trust would be seeking to appoint a suitably experienced provider of RMOs to seamlessly provide 24 hours a day, seven days a week cover across its three acute hospital sites: 1) Kent and Canterbury Hospital ('KCH'), Canterbury, CT1 3NG. 2) William Harvey Hospital ('WHH'), Ashford, TN24 0LZ. 2) Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother Hospital ('QEQM'), Margate, CT9 4AN. The Trust expects: - the RMOs provided to be an integral part of the team (including the arrest team) responsible for the provision of medical care to its patients on a routine and emergency basis. - the provider to meet all statutory regulations, and all other reasonable standards, applicable to the provision of RMOs to the NHS.
