Description

The Growth Gateway will increase the volume and type of trade and investment that generates positive benefits for poor women and men. It will achieve this through (i) better signposting to increase the utilisation of HMG “offer to business” instruments serving developing country markets; and (ii) provide responsive services to global businesses and the HMG network to facilitate more trade and investment with developing markets and increase its development impact.

Total Quantity or Scope

The Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office is seeking partners/suppliers to manage the delivery of services for the Growth Gateway. Full information on the requirements and services to be delivered can be found within the Terms of Reference. The successful supplier will begin delivering services under contract from a planned start date of March/April 2021 until the programme’s conclusion in March/April 2025. Additional information: A FCDO employee will be the senior responsible owner (SRO) for the Gateway except where an agreement to assign or novate the contract to an alternative HMG department is reached, in which case the role of SRO will be re-assigned to a member of staff under that HMG department. The contractual terms of assignment and novation will be covered under the the contractual terms and conditions and the contract special conditions. At the point of tender, it is anticipated that the contract may be assigned or novated to the Department for International Trade in due course

Renewal Options

FCDO will award a contract for an initial term of 48 months and for a maximum value of £28,500,000. The contract will include extension options of up to an additional 24 months. FCDO may also scale up the programme should it prove to be having a strong impact and has the potential to yield better results in line with the Terms and Conditions and as per the tender documents. Any extension and/or scale up will be for an additional maximum value of £51,500,000. This may result in a maximum contract term of 72 months, and a maximum contract value of £80,000,000. FCDO reserves the right to scale back or discontinue this programme at any point in line with the Terms and Conditions and as per the tender documents
